Established 07 January 1973

Founded by co-founders M.K. Unnikutty and M.K. Jayaprakash, who together jointly conducted business operations up to the year 2000 — building M/s New Pharmacy into the most prominent and sought-after wholesale and retail pharmaceutical trader in Coonoor.

The year 2000 saw a new entrant — Javeen Jayaprakash, the grandson and son of the co-founders. A Pharmacy Graduate who had the privilege of being nurtured and tutored under well-experienced mentors, he entered the business arena. From there began the onset of modernisation and the futuristic concepts of retailing at New Pharmacy.

Mr M.K. Unnikutty left us all in the year 2013 — but even today his legacy is followed and practiced by the current stakeholders, M.K. Jayaprakash and Javeen Jayaprakash.

Here we are today, serving the people of Coonoor and the Nilgiris — after 53 years of discipline, dedication and determination, with a what's-next attitude.
